Stretch L is a progressive hip hop artist who prides himself on lyrical word play, anti-theist, and humanistic approach to rap music. He is the founder of Dizfunktional and DFUNK Records with partners such as Spyda the Wise Musician, R!P of Eclectic Shade, and Habitual. His influences are many including Erykah Badu, Common, Redman, and EPMD. His musical influences are basically members of Parliament-Funkadelic and James Brown whom he credits as the fathers of Hip Hop as a culture.
Stretch L is also a founding member of the Dizfunktional movement out of Oklahoma City. Inspired by golden era rap and 70s funk music, Stretch hits hard with deep content for a mature audience. Stretch L has an upcoming Album Entitled “Ray’s Motel” and Razor’s Edge is the single from the Album.
